Connecting Judaism to the natural world emphasizing Jewish teachings: Tikkun Olam, Bal Tashchit, Shomrei Adamah
We're building awareness and sharing our story through hands on activities, volunteer opportunities, and educational events.
Students age 12-18! Are you ready to REpair the world? Are you passionate about REbuilding community? Be part of the REgeneration!
Over the course of this 8-part self-paced program, student participants will work under the guidance of the Shalom Park Community Garden Coordinator to learn the importance of environmental stewardship and advocacy. Participants will research and implement an environmentally-based service project that addresses a need within the community. Click below to express interest in participating in the next session!
Students age 6-11 and their siblings! Shalom Green Sprouts is a monthly meetup featuring 1-hour of action for young environmentalists.
Once a month, meet with community and environmental experts to learn how you can make a difference! From increasing biodiversity to reducing waste, these fun and hands-on activities will help heal the world.
