We're building awareness and sharing our story through hands on activities, volunteer opportunities, and educational events.
People of faith are coming together for the Greening Our Faith Communities Summit.
We are aware of the many risks we face due to our changing climate. But as people of
faith we do not turn away; instead we turn towards challenges, answering the call to
care and to serve. That is why we are holding a faith-climate summit on May 20-21, 2021.
The Greening Our Faith Communities Summit is an opportunity for people to answer the
call, to be inspired by faith, learn about issues, seek solutions to address the needs of
our time, and strengthen resiliency with neighborhoods most vulnerable to the impacts
of climate change.
Please save the date May 20 from 1-5:00 pm and May 21 from 9–12:30 pm. For more
Note: Shalom Green will be talking about how to start and maintain a community garden during a breakout session on May 20th. We hope to "see" you there!
