Here We Grow! Support YOUR Shalom Park Community Garden!

Shalom Green, the volunteer led Shalom Park Environmental Initiative, is responsible for maintaining the Shalom Park Community Garden. Did you know?

The Shalom Park Community Garden hosts over 2,000 visitors annually and is maintained solely by volunteers and our Garden Coordinator.
The garden has fourteen raised beds and produces, on average, over 350 pounds of produce each year.
Shalom Green's Pe'ah Forward program expansion efforts have resulted in an additional 750 pounds of produce donated to the Jewish Family Services food pantry and other local organizations combating food insecurity.

Funding for the garden depends on community support! We need to raise over $7,000 to grow and maintain the Shalom Park Community Garden in 2026!

Our Funding

Shalom Green receives financial support from the Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte. Shalom Green receives administrative support and fiscal sponsorship from the Foundation of Shalom Park.

To provide financial support to Shalom Green, donations made to The Foundation of Shalom Park should note "Shalom Green Fund." Donations may be made online OR delivered to the Foundation of Shalom Park office.
